Maison essence

Atelier of modest couture. Every piece composed by a named hand, in cloth of known provenance, on a timeline that respects the work.

Twenty-five to thirty days. One artisan. The signature on the inside seam.

  1. Day 0

    The commission opens.

    Measurements are confirmed against the saved profile, the cloth selected, the technique named. The artisan is assigned by name.

  2. Days 1 — 7

    The cut.

    The cloth is laid by hand on the marble, and the pattern is drawn against the body the garment will dress.

  3. Days 8 — 21

    The hand.

    Embroidery, beading, hand-applied finish. The technique passes through one set of hands from beginning to end — the artisan's signature is on the inside seam.

  4. Days 22 — 30

    The composition.

    Pressing, certification, packaging in atelier livery. The finished piece is delivered with the artisan's named card and care provenance.
