What we are not

  • An e-commerce brand that buys from a market and ships from a warehouse.
  • A boutique that curates the work of others.
  • A single designer with a single point of view.
  • A print-and-ship operation.

We are a house of masters.

A working atelier in the United Arab Emirates, with a storefront in Abu Dhabi, an in-house production floor, named specialists for every garment we make, and a procurement standard that begins nine years before a piece reaches the woman who orders it.

In premium fashion, the customer is asked to trust the label. We ask her to trust the house.

Three principles are non-negotiable.

Transparency.

Every embellishment, every stone, every fabric is named and accounted for on the product page. As the house standard, we use premium YHB stones, recognised globally for their brilliance. When a customer requests bespoke stonework, the application is carried out in our atelier under the personal supervision of our Operations Head, Mr. Obaid, who has led production floors in this industry since 2012.

Sourcing.

Our Procurement Manager, Mr. Omair, has spent nine years inside the textile trade. Every thread, every spool of zari, every bolt of fabric that enters the atelier passes through his selection first. Nothing is bought in volume on price. Materials are chosen for the garment they will become.

Scrutiny.

Before fabric is cut, it is reviewed by the Department Head, tested by the Lead Artisan, and approved by the Quality Head. Three reviews. No fourth path. The same standard applies to a daily essential and to a couture commission.

A house organised in four craft tiers.

A woman who buys from Wow Fashions is buying into a house organised in four craft tiers. Each tier offers the same garments. What changes from tier to tier is the depth of the craft, the rarity of the materials, and the time committed to each piece.

The architecture exists because the women we dress live across a wide spectrum of occasions and intentions — from a confident daily garment, to a wedding presence, to a once-in-a-decade couture commission. One house. Four expressions of the same standard.

Darziya is the couture tier of the house. When a piece is commissioned at this tier, our Department Heads do not supervise the work alone — they take the needle themselves. A Darziya commission carries the signature of a master, not the oversight of one. This is the highest expression of what the house can do.

Named masters. By name, by craft, by year.

The work of Wow Fashions is carried by named masters, each with deep specialisation in a category of garment-making. Their craft does not belong to a single tier of our house — it scales across every garment we produce. A panel of artisans, each skilled in their own niche, carries the work from our daily essentials to our couture commissions. The difference between tiers is the time spent, the materials chosen, and the intensity of the work. The mastery is constant.

    Twenty-five years on one craft. Mohammad Shameem leads the Soube atelier. The grace of a silhouette begins with him.

  • Mr. Farid & Mr. Salam

    Maghribi · Lineage to 1959

    A Moroccan tradition we did not invent — we carried it. Our Maghribi atelier is led by Mr. Farid and Mr. Salam, with Mr. Farid carrying a tailoring lineage that traces back to 1959. Our Maghribi work is defined by silhouette, cut, and construction — the kind of tailoring that cannot be shortcut.

  • Mr. Talha

    Jalabiya · 12 years

    Twelve years of dynamic, design-led work. Mr. Talha brings contemporary movement into a heritage garment without diluting either.

  • Mr. Israr

    Digital Embroidery · 22 years

    Twenty-two years inside the precision side of craft. Mr. Israr leads our digital embroidery atelier; the work on the floor is carried by Mr. Jazib and Mr. Rameez under his mentorship. The marriage of hand and machine is supervised in-house, never outsourced. Every digital motif executes to atelier standard.

Every finished piece passes through one final eye.

Even as the house grows, the standard does not move. Where specific elements require collaboration with trusted external partners, the work returns to our floor for full review. Every finished piece passes through Mohammad Zaid — seventeen years of design and quality authority — and nothing leaves the house without his sign-off.

Wow Fashions was not built in a boardroom.

It was built on a friendship that began in school, and on a shared idea of what a fashion house should be.

From my college years, I knew the kind of work I wanted to build. Not a venture. Not a margin. A house — the kind a market remembers. Ten years in sales and product taught me what a customer pays for, and what she pays attention to. A degree in Project Management from Toronto taught me how to build the operating system underneath both.

In 2022 I moved to the UAE and began something separate from my technology work — an embroidery and tailoring atelier. I developed an intuitive reading of the Arabian fashion buyer, established the physical infrastructure of the atelier, and brought into the house what no founder can fake: access to master-level craft.

The Catalyst

In 2024, Kamil asked Noman to visit the UAE on a short trip. He knew within the visit. The category sat at the exact intersection of three pillars he had been building toward for fifteen years — entrepreneurship, e-commerce, and brand-building. Kamil had brought into one place the two ingredients no founder can fake: genuine market access and master-craft access.

We started Wow Fashions because we needed each other to build it. Kamil brought the market. Noman brought the architecture. Neither of us could have built this house alone.

Stewards of the Craft

Building a premium modest fashion house sits at the intersection of two worlds — the heritage of the embroidery boutique and the discipline of the modern e-commerce operation. The people who understand both, intimately, are rare. Together, we are those people.

We see ourselves as stewards of a craft we did not invent, but one we are committed to preserving with the same care as the artisans who hold the needle.
